01 · Problem
Finding an apprenticeship or first job in Germany is slow and intimidating for young people: long application forms, cover letters, and job boards built for desktop. Meanwhile, companies struggle to reach a generation that lives on their phones.
02 · My role
As Senior Mobile Developer, I build and maintain the React Native app for iOS and Android, from new features and UI to performance, releases, and App Store and Google Play publishing. I work closely with product, design, and backend to ship a smooth experience for a young, mobile-first audience.

Video-first job discovery
A TikTok-style vertical video feed lets companies show what the job actually looks like, which speaks to a Gen Z audience far better than a text listing.

Applying in a few taps
The application flow is built for mobile: a reusable profile replaces long forms and cover letters, so candidates can apply in seconds instead of giving up halfway.

Migrating to Expo
I led the migration from bare React Native to Expo, simplifying native builds and enabling over-the-air updates, so the team could ship faster with fewer release headaches.
